I must have gotten a bad one. I received a second one from the warehouse with damaged packaging, but the webcam itself was in pristine condition. Pros: + The color was great. + The camera design felt solid, but the base hinge was a little loose and very easy to unintentionally adjust. Cons: - The cable is only 5 feet long and barely reaches my tiny desk. You may need an extension cord if you have a large computer on the floor and a large standing desk. The privacy shutter is a good idea, but it's a bit tight and using it can cause you to move the camera. (Especially with the loose hinge mentioned above.) - Breach of contract/Reason for return: Unfortunately, the auto focus didn't work properly on mine. It remained unfocused, then focused for a split second, then immediately returned to the unfocused state. Repeat every 3 seconds. I returned it for a refund because I received the Nexigo N660P (same company) at the same time to insure my bet. It's impressive. The base hinge is solid, the shutter slides easily and, most importantly, the autofocus works.
