Plus size are ACTUALLY plus size
There are a lot of reasons to wear compression socks. Varicose veins, leg ulcers (referred to specifically as venous leg ulcers), or leg swelling (edema), as well as those with circulatory problems. Risks of clots can be reduced by wearing compression socks. I am a walker and find they help reduce leg strain but I ALWAYS wear them when traveling by air. Prolonged sitting and unable to stretch or move properly puts you at risk for DVT's. Many pilots and flight attendants were them.I prefer the closed toe socks and I also find the plus sizes of these actually are plus size. These Nuvein Comperssion Socks are affordable and made in the USA.
