Type of review

I was very satisfied with the quality of Trueform compression stockings, and the price was so reasonable as compared to other brands and what you might think you have to pay in special pharmacies and at vein clinics. Don't be afraid to order these, they are just the same quality even though they're much more economical. I had to get the 30-40 strength, and they are really difficult to get on, but that is what is required, just toughen up to the task, it's only once a day. The tougher strength…

Pros
  • Open-toe design accommodates those with longer toes
Cons
  • The open-toe design may not be appropriate for those with foot conditions such as bunions or hammertoes

Runs very small on my review.

These run WAY smaller than other brands and I'm going to have to give away the ones that I bought. I bought the size that this site said should be my size and my legs turned blue after about an hour from being too extremely tight. Buying the same size in another brand fit perfectly, so just be warned that these will run smaller than other brands.

Pros
  • Comes in a variety of colors to match any wardrobe
Cons
  • These stockings may be too tight around the calf or ankle, causing discomfort or pain

I ordered a size up after reading other reviews. Unless you have 0% body fat and have super skinny thighs then these are not for you. The top band is WAY too tight for a normal leg, even in an XL. They are also too narrow and long at the ankle. I had to actually cut them off. After wearing them for 6 hours the band at the topp starts to roll and cut off the circulation in your leg. Not so great. I would stick to the pantyhose and just cut the feet off. In fact that's what I just reordered…

Pros
  • Can be worn with sandals or other open-toe shoes
Cons
  • The open-toe design may not provide enough coverage for those with cold feet or poor circulation

Too tight for me on my review.

I ordered my size from the chart with high compression but could not get them on, so I had to return. Will reorder in a larger size with less compression.

Pros
  • good quality & price
Cons
  • Compression stockings may not provide enough support for those with severe circulation issues

Sizing is incorrect

Compression was form fitting and held its shape. The sizing on the box on the images posted is different from the box I received and it is uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Lightweight and breathable material
Cons
  • These stockings may require replacement or repair more frequently than other types of hosiery

Not Impressed! - my new review

Ok to wear around the house but forget wearing them out. The first problem is it takes about 8 to 10 minutes to put them on. Unless you have very firm thighs the band around the thigh creates a bulge. The open toe concept doesn't work, the bottom portion tends to roll up then you slip your foot into a shoe. I think the best bet is regular support stockings even if you have bulging vains.

Pros
  • Ideal for those who stand or sit for long periods of time
Cons
  • The open-toe design does not provide full coverage of the foot, leaving it vulnerable to injury or cold temperatures

Wrong size arrived in damaged box.

I received the product in a package that was ripped from the bottom and already opened. The product was much smaller than the XL I ordered. Yes, I am aware that compression stockings are supposed to look small because they have to be tight and yes, I made sure to order the right measurements that I needed. I have pairs in my size so I know what they look like when they come new. The size I received was completely out of the question.

Pros
  • Provides a great value for its cost
Cons
  • Compression stockings may not be effective for everyone, and other forms of treatment may be necessary

Great product for temporary relief from varicose veins!

I had to wear these stockings after treatment for varicose veins and they were all I expected. I wore them before the procedures and they really helped my legs the whole day long!

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Not long enough for me. I like them up to my hips! Love the open toe!!

Five Stars - my new review

My husband bought a pair for me and I do love these but I only gave it four stars because I do have to cut off the feet on the count of how uncomfortable they feel while wearing workout shoes (which is the only time I wear these socks when running or working out) My legs feel better not as much R L S at night and helps a lot with my veins. I'm 5'4 between 145-150 lbs and the mediums fit well. This is my second pair and they hold up very well in the regular wash I throw them in a cold cycle and…

Pros
  • Doesn't roll down or bunch up during wear
Cons
  • The dot-top may cause skin discoloration or bruising

Very stiff compression! Whoa! But pleased.

Ive worn compression stockings or two pregnancies now, and really like these. I needed the higher mm Hg compression b/c my veins were worsening, and i was sick of the full length ones i owned. Anyhow, ive ound putting them on inside out is best, and to expect some creasing beind the knee throughout the day. Just a quick adjustment in the restroom, and away ya go.the top band is quite effective overall.

Pros
  • Helps reduce the appearance of spider veins
Cons
  • These stockings may not provide enough compression for those with more severe conditions

Awesome! They stay in place and don't move at .

Awesome ! They stay in place and don't move at all, even after a 12 hour shift. I just purchased my third pair. The dot-top may dig into the skin during movement or bending.

Pros
  • May reduce the need for pain medications or anti-inflammatory drugs
Cons
  • The dot-top may dig into the skin during movement or bending

Tops Rolled Down Too Much

I am 5'4" and 11 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I weigh about 150 at this point. Like other reviews recommended, I went with one size larger than I usually wear (so I purchased a Medium). I need compression hose due to a superficial blood clot that developed with my last pregnancy. In the past I used 20-30 mmhg, but I decided to try stronger support this time. They were SUPER difficult to put on. It took me two or three tries to get them on. Then the tops would not stay up. They rolled down…

Pros
  • Medical Supplies & Equipment
Cons
  • These stockings may not be suitable for all sizes and body types

Don't buy Truform in my review

This stocking was terrible. I went to a medical supply store with certified stocking fitters. I had measured myself correctly and purchased the right size based on the product chart, but this stocking fit poorly. It started rolling down my thigh after 2 days use and was terribly uncomfortable. The store told me they used to stock Truform but stopped because of the company's poor quality control. If you have to wear a compression stocking like this one, it is worth it to spend more on a quality…

Pros
  • Prevents blood clots in the lower legs
Cons
  • The dot-top may dig into the skin or create noticeable creases

Super tight! best in my review

Super tight! I mean very thick and extremely tight. Need them for EVLT and sclerotherapy. My Dr. loves how tight they are. She says, the tighter the better. Disposable gloves does make it a bit easier to pull them up. I wash them in cold water in machine and hang to dry. No runs or tears yet. I have been using them so far from Feb - June.

Pros
  • Medical Compression Garments
Cons
  • The stockings may bunch up or slip down throughout the day, requiring constant readjustment

Thank you for taking my pain away!

This was my third attempt to get some relief for my pregnancy-induced varicose veins. This product does the job. It stays up and takes away the pain. As you would imagine, it gets annoying to have one of these on all day, but it's much better than the throbbing without it. Some, but minimal bunching behind the key which can irritate. Much less than the other two socks I used.

Pros
  • I wore everyday to work for 2 years before first hole appeared
Cons
  • Size seems to run a little small.
