Light wires are thinner than I thought; However, the cable design and coating as well as the weather resistant connector ends seem to be really good. There are 12 feet of cord before the main line lights up. Nine feet to the switch box, then another three feet until the light comes on. The total length of the main string of lights is 52 feet. Each additional strand is 40 feet long. We will try this month (October) and due to the weather we won't be able to shoot them until next March (2022). I will then update this review. I'm also not sure why the stock photo shows a solar array. It doesn't come with solar power.
