The rope may seem flimsy, but the light is bright enough for easy movement. The remote control could use a little more distance to the receiver. The included 3M tabs for attaching to walls, rooflines, etc. are completely useless. I love these lights. The rope is really thin but as you can see from the photos the light is very bright. We wanted subtle ones so we could leave them on, you won't notice them perfectly. The timer works great and remembers your last choice. I changed the color every night and it doesn't cancel the timer which is great. I'm not always home to turn them on. The lighting is exactly what I was hoping for. However, the power case is not firmly fixed. I don't think it should be, but if I unplug the device while holding it, the case will fall apart on its own. Am I tempted to use some super glue? Update, glue worked, everything is fine now.
