I love these lights. The rope is really thin but as you can see from the photos the light is very bright. We wanted subtle ones so we could leave them on, you won't notice them perfectly. The timer works great and remembers your last choice. I changed the color every night and it doesn't cancel the timer which is great. I'm not always home to turn them on. You have to point the remote at the box, so place it by the door, but it works from 16 feet away. The mounts are sticky and the next day they started falling off. Because it's so thin it was awfully difficult for us to find anything. Small brackets come with nails not suitable for vinyl siding. We took small screws and used the ones with small staples instead of nails. Got it done, I'm very happy with it.
