For those who want to rejuvenate coarse, tangled, dull hair I can recommend both Bio Silk Shampoo and Conditioner. I was very pleased that it solved some of my major hair problems and was paraben and sulfate free! Bio Silk Conditioner excels in detangling hair. For those with long hair, you know how difficult it is to find a detangling product that works well and doesn't leave your hair looking heavy or dull. I use Bio Silk Shampoo and Conditioner and appreciate the fact that it really restores the texture and look of my hair. Even if I use a different shampoo or don't need a conditioner, I prefer to finish with a small amount of Bio Silk at the ends to make combing easier. It tames my wet Pacific Northwest locks and I think it will work on curly hair too. I find both the shampoo and conditioner amazingly gentle on my scalp. There is a problem with the aroma: upon opening it has a strong smell (to me it's a 1950s salon smell), not that unpleasant, but distinct. Well the good news is that after a few weeks the scent will dissipate (oxygen exchange?) and turn into a citrus-woody scent (as opposed to floral).
