Love the gray design with little nautical/pirate motifs that we ordered for our 6 year old. But the lace is pathetic so we sent back the second pair we ordered. The drawstring is the only way to tighten the shorts (which is super important because he's a pretty skinny kid) - but they only left about an inch and a half of extra rope, making it nearly impossible to tie and untie! Shorts will slide down if you can't tighten them up. We had to tie a permanent knot, which luckily works because it's thin enough to still put her on and off, but as a result it's difficult to untie and too loose at the waist, to effectively keep the shorts in place. They should have left a longer tip!
