Review on Buy Cross Boss 700 x 35c TCS Light Fast Roll Tire by Cris Drew

Used it all season 2016 cx. First tubeless tire I've ever used so I think that influenced my first impressions of this tyre. It mounts easily to the Stan Grail rim, although I used a supercharger. Large volume felt good. I have a problem with sealant oozing out of the sidewalls like there are even holes in the sidewall all over. It's a very slow leak, but somehow the sealant never managed to shut it off and I was regularly getting wet spots all over the place. After working with him a bit more in the mountains/off the fall ahead of the 2017 season, I realized it was actually awful. Traction in the grass that I usually encounter. The brakes locked him up slightly and started to slide on the grass when others obviously didn't have such a problem. I thought maybe the tread was worn, but it wasn't worn at all, and I definitely kept it to a minimum on the pavement. I'm starting to think the grip pattern is too narrow to really bite through thick grass, and I've had much better luck with more aggressive grip patterns (fewer big grips that are spaced far apart).
