My god I could NOT install it on Stan.

Gee, I was NOT able to install it on Stan's Iron Cross. Don't try it, it will drive you crazy. They climbed onto my other carbon bike (maple). I had 2 sets and 2 out of 4 tires had cracked sidewalls. Maybe just bad luck in rooted/rocky New England. I also noticed that the sealant *really* seeps through the side panels. Are sidewalls a problem here? Hm.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • poorly thought out

GREAT they have a tubeless tire

GREAT they have a tubeless tyre. I like the protector. My only problem is that the profile isn't straight. So when the tire rolls there is a lot of wobble, like the rim is flexed. My rim is not bent, I have removed and mounted the tire several times to make sure it fits perfectly. (i.e. hear that loud POP noise when it's a good fit) I dried it with soap and water.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Fits

Good all-round CX/Gravel race tire

I'm quickly becoming a big fan of these tires. These are great tires for my Santa Cruz Stigmata: long gravel rides, plenty of washboard absorption, light enough for climbing, good traction and good rolling on tarmac. Really easy tubeless setup on my WTB rims. I think it's important to mention that they are lightweight and more suited to racing than durable training tyres.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • A few minor things

Delaminate (three tries!)

I tried this tire 3 times, each time it worked fine for about a week, after which a crack formed (twice on the tread and once on the sidewall). The tear only went down to the level of the webbing/fabric and then the rubber around the tear tore about an inch in all directions. I didn't abuse it, I didn't drive over sharp objects, I didn't jump or anything like that, just city streets. In the end I gave up on this tire and kept going.

  • Nice packaging

  • Weight

Bomb for SH: Tires

These tires are amazing! Tons of volume, they're 26mm wide on Velocity Aileron rims (fantastic tubeless, uncurbless mounted). Excellent profile, rolls fast enough on asphalt, sticks to dirt. Probably not ideal for wet deep mud, but they grind up everything from sand to wet clay. Glad to see someone making tires larger than UCI tires at least 33mm, for us everyday CX riders who might benefit from a bit more bulk with clincher/tubeless tires.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • I won't say anything

These are the best cyclocross tires I've seen

These are the best cyclocross tires I've seen. I bought them at the start of the cross country season on the recommendation of the bike shop. They grip the sand like no other. With the right air pressure, I can move over roots and rocks with absolutely no effort. Tire tread in the mud is normal. It's not the best option for very sloppy scenarios, but overall an A+ tire. I also installed them tubeless and can use them at ultra-low pressure. I'm talking about 20psi. I found they don't burp at all

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good tires but not for me

Used it all season 2016 cx. First tubeless tire I've ever used so I think that influenced my first impressions of this tyre. It mounts easily to the Stan Grail rim, although I used a supercharger. Large volume felt good. I have a problem with sealant oozing out of the sidewalls like there are even holes in the sidewall all over. It's a very slow leak, but somehow the sealant never managed to shut it off and I was regularly getting wet spots all over the place. After working with him a bit more…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive
