Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ CHENBO Ultralight Outdoor Camping Stove | Foldable Gas Cookout Burner for Backpacking | Cooking Stove for Camping & Backpacking Stoves by Anthony Rael

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great buy and easy fix if you get a leaky one.

I hooked up and tested this stove at home. The flame is excellent; wide and infinitely adjustable. I can make the best scrambled eggs with this thing. My stove gasped first. I smelled it and checked the overnight weight loss. 4 grams in about 10 hours. I was about to return it but decided to try silicone lube. I covered the top and bottom with a large rubber pad, hooked it back up and left it on all day. No weight loss in 12 hours and no smell of gas. If you don't have silicone lube, I bet any lube or even some oil will improve the seal. The stove feels flimsy, but it's very light, compact and the flames are better than some of the more expensive stoves. A few years ago I got a Jetboil for Christmas. Complete crap for cooking anything but water. The flame is highly concentrated and uncontrolled; It's either on at full power or completely off. At $12, that's a lot, and it runs on very common and readily available fuels.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some bugs
