Don't buy good exercise equipment

I should have known better than to try and save a few bucks. I've had a few rebounds over the years with my older boys who are high school baseball players. I figured that for my youngest son, who also serves the ball, this rebounder would be a good choice. No, that is not so. It was a lot less than I expected. The frame is thin. The serve target is very small and does not accurately represent the hitting zone. Ridiculous dough. He is very small, about 5 years old. His knee and elbow are in the impact zone. I mounted a rubber pad in front of the reflector, measured the dough box and painted it with lawn paint. So I know the hole is small and knees and elbows are in the impact zone. The main plate is wider than the hole. My son, who is an excellent thrower, was so upset that I kicked him out. Luckily his older brother is a catcher so he can still practice his serve.
