Big Small Lens in Camera Lenses

Good. I was hoping for a small, fast 50mm equivalent lens with a more "classic" character than my excellent Fujifilm f/1.4 35mm lens. The price seemed too good so I wasn't too hopeful. I'm happy to report that I was immediately impressed by this lens. It's certainly sharp when stopped down, but wide open it produces the dreamy bokeh I was hoping for, while still being reasonably sharp in the center. Wide open contrast is also lower, which is exactly what I was looking for, especially for black and white work. Also great for use in videos. The construction seems solid, it seems that it is made entirely of metal. It has already taken a permanent place in my set.
