Good for Hand Tools

This is a traditional oil stone. Make sure you buy a quality honing oil to get the most out of it. It is a two-sided stone, coarse-grained on one side and fine-grained on the other. It comes with a Kevlar glove so you don't cut yourself and a cutting guide which I didn't find particularly useful. This system is easy to use and works well. Just take your time and set the right angle. And make sure to apply fresh oil before each use.
