Very thin non-buildable coating. Super transparent so if that's what you're looking for, you've found it! I'm fairly light, and the light shade makes me look even better. My mother-in-law has a tan (Puerto Rican) and the darker tones were too light for her. Unfortunately this product does not cover pimples well, too thin to give me the coverage I need. Definitely doesn't cover up my under eye circles as my fairly heavy blue veins appear deeper/more superficial underneath my fair skin when I'm tired and it doesn't shrink. Seems moisturizing? Can be useful for those who are super light and require minimal lighting. Keep this in mind when choosing a color. I will not buy again. hope you have better luck None of the sponges pictured were just a tiny mushroom-headed sponge, maybe for the trip? I will not buy again.
