Barring the occasional manufacturing issue with the stylus on my Victrola VTA-67, this turntable has the *worst* sound quality I have ever heard from a turntable heard consumer audio device class of all time. Video footage playing through its own speaker recorded on your phone doesn't really help quantify this, sorry. The REAL test was to come when I plugged in my plush in-ear headphones and played back a recording that I knew was full, rich and vibrant. . What I heard was CRAZY bad *especially on the low end*. The rich, warm low-end is *a big part of vinyl's "analog sound"*, so there's *utterly no point in listening to vinyl.* The frequency response of the turntable isn't in the owner's manual, or any Internet listed specifications. Documents I can find - that's a bad sign for me. I will be in touch with Victrola to see if there are any physical/manufacturing issues with mine as well as the turntable's frequency response! I will update the post with news.
