Having tried several other inexpensive turntables I didn't expect this one to be much better. I was willing to buy one for around $500 but decided to try this one before I did. So glad I did! The optics are very nice, the quality corresponds to the price. The sound is pretty decent too; This was my main concern as the ones I've tried before had terrible sound quality. I recommend!

Barring the occasional manufacturing issue with the stylus on my Victrola VTA-67, this turntable has the *worst* sound quality I have ever heard from a turntable heard consumer audio device class of all time. Video footage playing through its own speaker recorded on your phone doesn't really help quantify this, sorry.
