Review on 🔒 Munchkin Xtraguard Dual Action Multi Use Latches: A Comprehensive Safety Solution (2 Count) by Gary Knop

I bought these to keep my 18 month old twins away from our entertainment center. We have two glass doors that they just happily opened. It was easy to put on but unfortunately one of my girls pulled on the strap before it was actually installed and ripped the rear latch (which we don't use) off the tree. Now it's not sticky so I just pulled out and taped some extra command strips. It's basically invisible so we can't see the tab, and it works great! The castles are pretty big and unsightly, but they do their job and they can't figure it out (yet). I'm sure by three or so they'll find that all they have to do is push the buttons and boom! access to everything. But for now they are excellent. It would be nice if they gave extra glue just in case (or to reuse). It would also be nice if they made them in black as well as matte and polished silver just to make them look a little bit better. They do what I wanted at a great price, I recommend! Edit: September 7, 2013: My daughters are over two years old and still don't fit in. I've now put them on all the cupboards in the kitchen as well. If I accidentally leave one of them, they try to put it back on but they can't. They have a very small hand and little strength so I'm sure they will last a long time. You really have to push and pull the side buttons, my daughters can't do that. To install these in my kitchen I completely removed the adhesive that came with the lock and instead taped it on with command strips to save on the cabinets. in our rented house. My daughters pull and pull on it, and even with the command strips instead of the included adhesive, they couldn't get it off. still love her! EDIT FEBRUARY 29, 2016: My daughters are now 4.5 and finally figured out how to unlock these locks. Luckily we don't need them anymore so I deleted them all. I would highly recommend these locks to all other types to protect small children from drawers, cabinets, fridges, dishwashers etc. They have been doing an excellent job for us for a little over 3 years!
