Works as expected with heart rate monitors

Polar was the first heart rate monitor I bought over 20 years ago when I was mountain biking. They were considered one of the best then and I believe they remain so to this day. I would like to keep the watch because it would work with this one too. My first heart rate monitor didn't work and said it got a little wet, which of course happens when I'm sweating. I didn't wet the tape and it worked fine. It used to be very important to dry the sensor to save the battery. Now they simplified it by untying it from the strap. I'm very happy to have a battery meter and the ability to change the battery if needed. I believe the battery drains faster now that it also works with Bluetooth. The app I was working with wants me to go premium to view heart rate data, so I just use Polar Beat. I got the other app working (see the first two images) but it doesn't have an auto stop unless I upgrade to premium. When I use the Polar Beat app, it turns off other devices with Bluetooth, which is annoying. I currently use it for cycling and walking, although it's really difficult to get my heart rate up while walking. I love it when the app uses sound to tell me where my heart rate is right now. The images show two different workouts with two different apps. The first in the Runtastics MountainBike app that is no longer available. The first workout was a 24-mile bike ride on muddy, wet, paved trails. I wasn't happy with my average pace but looking at the heart rate data I can say it was a good workout. Another workout was indoor cycling with the Polar Beat app. I wear a plus size shirt (38" bust) and the standard size M-XXL is fully fitted and it barely fits.
