Great concept but as many others have mentioned LCI's product packaging means the product will arrive damaged. Mine was bent out of a square, one leg was dented and the steps were scratched, probably in the manufacturing process. The box was completely destroyed upon delivery, even if I wanted to return the damaged product I would have to buy new packaging. Apparently LCI either doesn't read these reviews or they just don't care. You decide. Installation was easy, but the top plate's "lazy curves" prevented a good fit. So you will either modify or customize your doors or bring a grinder to the top panel. Note: Poorly prepared instructions should include the phrase "Beat in Tone - Paint in Tone". Another tip, visit the LCI website where the photos are in color and you can actually see what they were trying to show you in poorly printed black and white instructions. Conclusion: I like the steps, but I don't think they will work for every application. When I called tech support, they found that a 3/8 inch gap was needed at the bottom of the door. I've had five different motorhomes and I don't think any of them had 3/8" at the bottom of the door in the closed position. I hope this helps others when they decide to buy this $500 product.
