Love these. I went back and forth between MorRyde and Lippert before finally buying a Lippert. A family member has a MorRyde which is also great. Ultimately I settled on the Lippert for the larger top tier, which is great. We have an aging large dog with sore hips and this extra width makes it easier for him to get up and especially off. I measured the distance from the floor to the threshold on a flat surface. I ordered 4 steps and installed them according to the lousy instructions. The screen door didn't close. Called Lippert customer service and they told me I needed to cut 3/4 to 1 inch off the bottom of the screen door and if it still won't close use a heavy hammer and pry back the top panel. That's a really good move. My biggest complaint is that the Lipperts packaging is terrible. UPS can't get it to my door safe and sound. The first was bent so badly it wasn't safe. The second was bent so much that the leg did not straighten on one side. The third appeared to be bent in an area that I can straighten out and make the bend go away. Great concept but as many others have mentioned LCI's product packaging means the product will arrive damaged. Mine was bent out of a square, one leg was dented and the steps were scratched, probably in the manufacturing process. The box was completely destroyed upon delivery, even if I wanted to return the damaged product I would have to buy new packaging. delivery box was a train wreck, lower leg stuck out, minor minor damage. Adjusted the little swivel leg, it could have been worse. There were many holes in the shipping box. Fastening screws were lost while driving. I am satisfied with the need to purchase screws and bolts. Just thought I'd let you know about the delivery. I saw other comments. Not disappointed with this one, especially after reading all the hype about it. I looked at both manufacturers (Lippert and Moryde) that make these types of folding steps and chose them for three reasons. Well, maybe 4.1. The top step is lower than the competition, offering a 13-inch step, almost like a landing. This makes it easier for pets and children to get in and out of the RV2 safely.
