Plugged in and unplugged. I love the colors and this looked pretty good. A day and a half after installing it, I hear something moving, I look around and see it's broken. I have no idea how as it hasn't been touched since it was installed. The picture shows where it broke and I can see now that it's flimsy plastic, but there was no indication that it was cheaply made or that there might have been a problem with it before I put it in place. I now have 2 separate 3 foot sections. I don't know how to fix this because the garland should be one long piece. I don't know what the company can do about it. I really like it so I hope something can be done.
