Works perfectly! on external components
I work remotely and use this to switch between my home computer and my home work computer (provided by my employer). It's been about a month since I installed it and it works great. Didn't think I'd use a wired remote, but you can actually place the switch anywhere (and out of the way) and just toggle back and forth. It was easy to connect. If I had one complaint, it was that the diagrams in the written instructions were too small to read without a magnifying glass. Luckily that's mostly common sense, but I also make Raspberry Pi projects for fun, so it might not be that easy for someone.
