This is how I used it with other mounts. Here's how I use it with this mount. As mentioned above. My phone doesn't stay with others. Not only does my phone stay in its little rest area, this magnet can hold my phone raw! It's ugly, but COULD do it. The mount comes with a metal plate to place it on the back of the phone case. I left this record the same and experimented with others. I changed the plate to see if there is a difference. It's DEFINITELY the magnet on this thing. So finally.
