There are better ways.
Bought primarily for easel. I didn't have high hopes for what came in the box and I was right about that. Bought brushes and paints. The easel is a good size and I like the fact that the surface is firm to paint on as I paint with watercolors and like to tape paper. That was the main reason I chose this one. Unfortunately, the small latches are of poor quality and the drawer is poorly made and doesn't want to slip out anymore. I really wanted to like this set but it's not as good as I was hoping.
