Relatively cheap. Bought two for the camper fridge and freezer. CR 2032 battery is in the package and needs to be installed. This is a small problem. When I installed the battery none of the thermometers worked. Come on, it wasn't worth the trouble to get her back. But when I looked closer I saw that there were two contacts between which the battery should be inserted, rather than just inserting the battery into the hole (which I did on the first try. After making sure the contacts were open I installed the batteries and they both worked). Well the temperatures were right, they do their job in a fridge on wheels, the moral of this review is be careful when installing the battery.
