So far this product is great. I had it for a few weeks. I have a Samsung Note with a case so it's quite heavy for a phone but if you set it up properly it stays in place. This item fits the vent more securely than the other two products I've tried and the idea of using magnets to hold the phone in place is brilliant as there's no problem removing it if you get out of the car. You just stick the metal plate (included) into the phone or the phone case (in any case). They give two by default for two different phones and you can leave them there all the time. There's a screw adjustment for tightness. it sometimes loosens, so tighten accordingly. once tensioned, it does not move in an undesired manner. My phone is heavy so I have to hold it tight. However, since you can mount the phone on the magnetic plate at any angle/orientation, it doesn't matter that the swivel mechanism needs to stay tight. You still have positioning flexibility. That's right, the phone fell off once or twice. a combination of vent position or loose hinge, or I have it in the wrong position for gravity relative to a heavier phone, but with my phone in a case and screen protector it doesn't bother me either way. like a product very much
