This temperature controller is a very simple way to control the climate in a room where you cannot always be around to control it manually. You just have to program the appropriate minimum and maximum temperature. There are two outlets labeled heating and cooling and this is where you connect the power to your heating or cooling system. For example, you can connect a heater and an air conditioner, and if the temperature gets too low, the heater will turn on automatically. When the temperature gets too high, the AC unit will turn on automatically. When the temperature reaches the programmed ideal value, both devices switch off. There is a separate temperature sensor that can be placed about 2 to 7 feet away from the device for a more accurate temperature reading. The device has two screens that show different information depending on what you are doing, programming or just checking the monitor. In most cases, one of the screens will show the current temperature and the target temperature. There are also circular LEDs that show at a glance whether the device is in heating or cooling mode.
