Be careful. THE CAMERA WILL NOT PROVIDE 2K RESOLUTION WHEN USING CONTINUOUS RECORDING. Misleading Advertising. Setup was easy and didn't require reading the instructions. Take the camera out of the box, connect the USB cable, plug the cable into the camera and the power adapter. Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet. Press the pairing button on the camera and wait for the beep. Launch the Eufy app and connect the camera by scanning the QR code on the base of the camera. Enter the WiFi password. Setup complete. I don't need motion detection other than other options, just continuous recording. Night vision works well. The main downside to this system is that continuous recording is limited to 1080p. Only live streaming and motion detection will be in 2k. There is no way to enable 2k. This defeats the purpose of the 2k resolution proposal. I specifically bought a high endurance micro SD card to take advantage of continuous recording, but since that's not possible I might as well trade them in for 1080p models, that way I'm not paying for a feature , which does not exist. Enable 2k resolution for continuous recording or indicate in the product description that 2k resolution is not available. Otherwise, it is just a cheating feature.
