How many times can you say that a digital camera has lasted 7 years? Not only has my Sony lasted this long, it has withstood falls, sticky fingers, use by young children and has suffered quite a bit over the years. Did I mention drops? Compared to what's available today, this camera isn't that much. 3.2 megapixels isn't much more, although I had no problems printing really good photos of all sizes (from wallet to 11x14) from the camera. There were many features and color options that made taking pictures a pleasure. The video quality was terrible! If you weren't outside in direct sunlight, you wouldn't be able to capture decent footage. But I didn't need a video camera anyway, so that was fine with me. There's something on the front that lets you keep your finger on the camera while taking photos, so you can easily shoot with one hand (which was great when I was holding my baby while taking photos). Navigation was easy - I'm not familiar with the camera but I was good at it. My Sony died when my stupid water bottle leaked (Deer Park started making poor quality caps for their sports bottles - I can't tell you how many times my water has spilled over the past few months). It never recovered from the semi-dip (it was only wet for a few seconds and I dried it immediately by removing the batteries and memory card and drying and letting it dry for a few days) and now when I turn it on , I just got a blue screen that I can't get out of. I am so sad :( I paid $200 when I bought this camera. It has met and exceeded my expectations and due to the long life and reliability this camera has given me I am already looking forward to getting mine next Sony I'm looking at other cameras due to price cons, but I WANT another Sony!
