So, it was a disaster. I wanted this camera because it had all the bells and whistles and was said to be the best model, but I had nothing but problems. I bought three of these in a row and all three didn't work the same way. Here's the story: 1.) The first device I ordered was DEAD. He never turned on. The device was wrapped in plastic, but the small "Vantrue" sticker was broken, as if it had already been opened. So I sent it back and ordered another one. If I could put 0 stars I would. 2.) The second one I ordered was boxed but again the Vantrue seal was broken as if it had been previously opened. So this "view" worked, but had a problem with "parking mode". If you set parking mode, it will easily switch to parking mode even while driving. I had to call Vantrue support and they confirmed it shouldn't work that way. Parking mode should only be activated when parked, not while driving. So in the middle of my trip it kept turning itself off and going into parking mode. The support team thought he had a bad G-sensor. I had to send this one back and order a third one. 3.) Ordered a third one but couldn't use it as it couldn't read the SD card! I used a brand new card (worked in two other cameras) and tried several other SD cards I had and they didn't work. And yes, of course I tried to format the cards in the camera but I got a "formatting error" message. Also on this camera the Vantrue sticker was broken as if it had already been opened. So that's three cameras with three different problems, all of which turned out to be previous returns that Revain had repackaged and presumably sold to me. I went all in by buying a cable kit ($15) and installing it at Best Buy ($50) only to have NO cameras. Also, it's been over a week since I returned the camera and I still haven't received a refund. I'm really starting to believe that Vantrue is cheap junk and that Revain is being dishonest in sending me equipment that I believe was previously returned. . Bad experience all around. Very unhappy.
