I searched the internet for videos on how to program new key fobs for their make and model. It was easy to program and I was able to follow the video the first time. I had to do this twice because when I programmed the new one, the old one stopped working. You may need to calibrate both (or however many) fobs you have in the same cycle for them all to work. All keychains work great. It was a great find, despite my terrible gifting skills. As a bonus for your reading pleasure, this was my terrible birthday present for my fiancé. I didn't quite know what to give her as gifts are not my strong point. I noticed a while ago that she lost her key fob and am complaining about it. So I saved that as a possible addition to a gift for her at some point. I haven't had much this year and what I had planned didn't quite work out; However, I was very happy to give her this gift. She could think of me every time she opened and closed her car. However, when I tried to program it with keys, I noticed a "new" key fob. After programming the new gift, I went in and asked her about it. Apparently my "inattentive" self didn't realize she got a new one almost a year ago. We now have the support she so kindly pointed out after we started laughing at my silly gift.
