I currently have a neoprene phone case that has (finally) worn out after years of use. I was amazed by its performance because my display and (very expensive) screen protector never cracked, scratched or scuffed when the phone was "safe and sound" in it. On the other hand, when I lost my current case and put the phone "naked” with the multiplier in my back pocket, the screen protector (not the screen, thank goodness!) broke into about ten pieces within an hour. This manufacturer has discontinued what I still use and only make a similar case (with clamshell strap) which is too big for my phone. (It's supposed to be for tablets.) So I tried this one. I'm not terribly impressed (aside from the value of the money spent): it doesn't have velcro - the phone is held inside by friction. But (of course) this will make it harder to get my phone out of my pocket and will no doubt cause me to miss calls and divert callers to voicemail. :/ Also (and more importantly) the neoprene it's made from is THINNER than my current case - provides less cushioning and is more likely to damage the device. Fall"giving up the ghost". But I'm not looking forward to that day.
