Of course they have to fit well. We know it. But I would caution any parent to buy more than one size. My lanky boy, a size 8, squeezed into a size 10. And the embroidered back didn't really suit him either. I'm not one of those who believe in gender clothing at all. My daughter wears almost all of her brother's clothes with no problem. But I really didn't like the embroidery. If the overall fit was much better, I might just unbutton his turtleneck and be done with it. But those runs were small, and casualties were a little smaller. I am very happy that Revain offers options and handles returns very well. In the end we found what we needed. Remember: the size is much larger!
