Review on πŸ”Œ T-Spec Black V10 Series Power Wire Spools - 12 AWG, 125-Feet by Rick Everett

Surprised. Nasty

I rewired all the speakers in my car and this cable looked strong, durable and appeared to be of good quality. I hooked up my first speaker today and was amazed at what I found. Every time I tried to split the wire in half to connect it to the speaker, the copper was exposed on one side or the other. Sometimes she bared both sides. I've never seen even cheap wire do this. I cut off ten feet and tore it apart. Copper was visible on both sides for the full length of the piece. Yes, I do not intend to split the wire along the entire length when installing in the car. I have to split it a few inches on each side when connecting to speakers and amp. I don't glue each side to 16 joints. This cable is junk. Oh, but it's Navy Compliance! I doubt it. I would rather throw this junk in the trash than try to sell it. I wouldn't sell it or give it to my worst enemy. I was lucky to notice this before I hooked up the whole machine. What a waste of money. I wouldn't be surprised if that length of wire cost $25, but $90 for this quality sucks. I will never buy this brand again and may just sell or throw away the T-Spec capacitor I bought. What a waste of money.
