Free your back!

I wanted to clean up the back of my bike and it worked for me. It wasn't plug and play. I had to make modifications to the bike and the device itself (the wires were WAY short). Although it looks good I have to admit! Oh, and there's no way to use the license plate bracket on US license plates without piercing them. Even after drilling it couldn't clean the fender so I decided to remove it entirely. I installed it on my 2000 Honda Shadow Spirit VT1100C. I had to drill holes in the fender as the bolts didn't line up with the original holes in the taillights. I also had to extend the wires by about 2.5 meters. I used trial and error to figure out the wiring, but this is what I got: black connects to the solid green wires on the bike (ground), red connects to the green/yellow striped wire, yellow connects with the brown/white striped wire, orange connects to light. blue, blue connects to the orange wire. Additionally, you need a pair of reliable crimping tools, not all-in-one multi-purpose tools. The wires in this mount are so thin that they are easy to pull out of the regular terminals. You will also need circular connectors to connect to the side of the bike. To be honest I don't think this light will last long but for now it does the job.
