Bought these for me and my wife. I was afraid they would be too big or too small but surprisingly they fit well. We're both a bit short compared to "normal" adults. But the pads fit our legs and arms comfortably without being tight. It was cold so we wore our winter coats and it was uncomfortable to wear them over the sleeves. I had to take my shoes off to put them on over my feet to cover my knees but security can be a bit uncomfortable. I think you can use straps instead of pads on the arms and legs. The wrist guards were perfect and I have small hands. Came in a carry case and while not high quality it is more than many will give you. If you have big arms/legs you might want to do more, if you're a thin person you might want to do less. But normal adults and slightly small adults should be good. I would take the abstracts and if they don't fit you can always come back. I think you will be happy
