I replaced this valve, canister vent valve and gas cap on my 2005 Yukon to eliminate the gas cap tightening code. The canister vent turned out to be defective, but I wanted to make sure all the bases were closed. That effort failed to turn off the check engine light. Replacing the fuel pump module didn't help either. In frustration I decided to replace this flush valve with a higher quality part and upon removal found the valve was stuck open causing both a problem with the test lamp and a new problem. long hot reboot. My valve sucks. Spend a few bucks more and maybe you'll avoid my disappointment.
