Wrong threads in ceiling fans and accessories

It would be nice if it was SAE and not metric. It will probably work on its own, but if you attach a ball/jar to it the threads won't match. In addition, when used with a light nozzle, the chain is too short, while the connecting element is in the part that screws the ball / glass to the fan.

Pros

Compatible with most ceiling fans, wall lights, cabinet lights. like Hunter, Casablanca, Harbor Breeze, Hampton Bay and so on.
