Working perfect for my needs
I used this heat tape to warm an outdoor yard hydrant that cannot be drained for winter weather. In the photo I added two layers of half inch closed cell foam pipe insulation tubes and wrapped the whole thing in a wind proof blanket. This product seems well made and up to the challenge, though winter has not really set in so far. Single digit temps expected here in Michigan. If the seller or manufacturer sees this review and thinks I am setting myself up for failure, I hope they will respond here.
