As already mentioned, there really is no other way. It fits, although the material is thinner, the sealing bar is mounted so poorly that it no longer seals without reinstalling it, the hinge barely slides into the flange. Also, it was noticed that the newly included aluminum rail is cut about 1mm longer. So if you try to put it back as is, the plastic cover will break. Be sure to check if it fits first, you'll need to loosen the top edges with a file or grinder so it conforms to the rounded shape of the lid. Oh, and of course absolutely no installation instructions so make sure you find the right video to learn how to uninstall/reinstall. Also, as you can see from the photo, the packaging is ridiculously out of place - mine somehow managed to get through the process unscathed, I really don't know how. I hope this lasts a year.
