Review on BETOOLL Tire Repair Kit: Set of 44 Plugs for Car, Motorcycle, Jeep, RV, ATV, and More by Kyam Deriphonse

Nice kit for the price

My initial impression of the BETOOLL 22-piece tire puncture repair kit is that this is a nice little kit for the money. I wanted something to carry in my car for emergencies, particularly since with my all-wheel drive vehicle you cannot mount the temporary spare on the front axle (meaning that if you get a puncture in the front, you must move a good tire from the rear to the front and mount the temporary on the rear). I figure that plugging a puncture and inflating the tire would be easier. First, instructions for fixing a puncture are included in the kit (some reviewers did not receive those) but there are no instructions for using the valve stem repair items included (I guess can find those online). The tools themselves seem solid for the job but I haven’t had the chance to use them (and hope that I never have to). I like the fact that the tools are all metal whereas some other kits have plastic handles. The kit is a little thick for my likes when closed up (about 2-1/2”) and while the case is adequate don’t expect the zipper to last long if you for some reason open and close it a lot. It’s something that you could throw under the seat and leave there until needed, but I may put the tools in a slimmer soft (cloth/canvas) case that can more easily be stowed in with my tire changing tools. There’s not much more to say at this time – the kit came as described, meets my expectations and seems up to the job.

Pros
  • CASE INCLUDED: Includes heavy duty hard plastic carrying and storage case
Cons
  • The plugs may not work on bias ply tires

Have not used it yet but really like the case it comes in. All the steel parts look rugged and durable. I believe I will use rubber cement rather than the " lubricant" that comes with it-old habit hard to break. Will update when I put to use and it fails.
