I ordered this top to wear with shorts. Most of my tops are great with leggings but they are too long to wear with shorts. What I mean is that if I don’t tuck a little of the hem of my top into the shorts, you can’t tell that I’m wearing shorts! The length of the top totally covers them up which is embarrassing. This top seems to be the perfect length, and it’s super cute. I haven’t washed and dried it yet. So I can’t comment on that. If horrible things happen when it is washed, I will update my review. One thing that may be of interest is that this top lays fairly close to the body in front. Sometimes when a top is made with several tiers or ruffles, it stands out from the body making it resemble a maternity top. Although this top has tiers, they begin under the boobs which allows the top to lay closer to the body. I plan to order a couple more.
