Second one I have bought. Bought the first one, clear, when the MacBook Pro with touch bar first came out and there were very limited covers around. Happy with the first one. I changed colour with second one, black, about 2yrs later. Doesn’t take away from the slim line design, feels good, looks good and will protect from scratches due to every day use. Outer silicon feel to it. The Apple logo is still slightly visible through the black cover, but looks cool. If you can see the logo through the black cover, then the Apple logo should be more visible through all the other colours. I do not think it will have a lot of protection if you were to drop your MacBook onto the concrete, depending on how it landed and the height it was dropped from, but if you are looking for a cover with that type of protection then you will need to purchase a bulky heavy duty case which will most definitely take away from the design of your laptop. Just treat your laptop with respect, don’t drop it and enjoy the slimline design of your MacBook with this cover protecting it. Easy 🙂
