Review on πŸš— Enhance Safety and Comfort with Evenflo Triumph LX Convertible Car Seat, Charleston by Robert Trevino

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great price on a convertible

So glad my son is done with the infant carrier and can switch to a convertible. He seems so comfortable in this chair. Installation: Okay, maybe not when it's 20 degrees outside like me. It would probably be easier without numb fingers. However it was a bit more difficult to assemble than the infant car seat base (I had a Britax B-Agile) but it seems sturdier so I can deal with that. The Britax base can still slip a bit in its tightest position, but this seat isn't going anywhere! Buckles: The slip system is great for adjusting the shoulder strap as it allows you to choose your personal height instead of choosing between too high and too low. The tension knobs are good but difficult to reach as they touch the back of the car seat. This won't be an issue if we switch to a forward-facing landing, but it won't be for another year and a half. Position: It's a bit wide but that's ok for us as we only have one kid so far. I like that it's not as long (or maybe just sits more upright) so the passenger seat doesn't get as squished. However, that is the reason why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Mine is tilted to its maximum, but it's still fairly upright and my son's head tilts forward a bit when he falls asleep. Conclusion: Great seat at a great price. Just take a good ten minutes to set it up and maybe don't use it until your child has a really good neck brace. although it is technically normal for newborns.

Cons
