I have been driving Jeeps with this bearing for over 20 years and I know their lifespan well. I professionally analyze failures of industrial plants. The bearings were tightened with a newly certified torque wrench. 4 months before the catastrophic failure of one of them as seen in my video. We recommend good origin Timken or skf bearings for industrial use at work and it makes sense when you see what other options can do. I think I put 5,000 miles on them. I could buy one good bearing instead of two bad ones, and I or someone else could be seriously injured or killed by such a malfunction.
