I originally had my eye on the Hosa Little Bro 6X2 Snake and really couldn't afford the extra $70 at the time so I started looking. This line jumped out for me because it had 2 more XLR channels PLUS it was half the price. So I bought it (obviously). I'm glad I did. The cable is very strong, the ends appear to be metal, if not then definitely very hard plastic. You also unscrew the XLR end sleeves if you need to repair or replace the connector. I use this snake with a Tascam US-800 audio interface and I have all 6 XLR channels PLUS I use the other 2 channels as returns. With the right adapters, I created two stereo returns that run from the interface back to the musicians for monitoring. It was a VERY useful tool for my recording studio, and I did it all for half the cost of a Hosa Little Bro and most other 20ft snakes.
