Direct installation replacement for 2014 Chevrolet Silverado with 5.3L engine. The part included a thermostat, a water outlet, and a rubber O-ring. This replaced my 77k mile original which was stuck open. The truck has not heated up over 180 and then 160 degrees in the last week. I only noticed it because the temperature sensor readings were below normal. This change was easy. Drained about a gallon from the radiator tap, removed the airbox, removed the coolant hoses, then unscrewed the three 10mm bolts holding the thermostat housing. I put everything back in place, poured Dexcool into the coolant surge tank and got on with my day. The truck is now running between 205 and 210 degrees and the sensor looks like it should again.
