I have thick cuticles. And they grow VERY fast. I bought this product along with Blue Cross Cuticle Remover to compare and I definitely liked this one better. It's faster and more efficient. It doesn't necessarily remove the cuticle as much, but rather makes it very flexible so it can be pushed back and trimmed with a cuticle trimmer. Here's a list of pros and cons, list the cons first because that's what everyone wants to know first, right? Cons: - I was disappointed as the product claims to remove cuticles. I was expecting to be able to push back my cuticles and push back cuticles from there. Picky, that's why I'm only deducting one star. - In some areas I had to apply twice and was rejected again. Pros: - Great job for the price. I'm not sure it would be worth paying more for one of the "luxury" removers. - Even removes that layer of "not quite skin, not quite cuticle" under the cuticle itself. - Fast, it only took about a minute to go. Overall: This is a great homemade cuticle remover between manicures or if you suffer from biting cuticles like me.
