I bought these to keep my Samoyed from slipping when changing from carpet to hardwood. She is so fast that she keeps slipping around every corner on the wooden floor. No, these didn't help. Why? 1. Anti-slip rubber pads are only on two sides of the toe. If the toe curls, as is inevitable with a moving dog, and it lands on its side without anti-slip, it actually becomes more slippery than with bare feet. 2. The rubber material used for anti-slip is not sticky enough, so the surface has no grip. However, they will keep your feet warm if that was the purpose of your purchase. And she didn't fight with them either, like with winter boots. We had a blast ($15) and watched her walk with them. And that in itself is an investment ;)
